SPARC Seeking Nonprofit Status
Fri - 12/21/2007
We are pleased to announce that the SPARC
summer program is currently in the process of
seeking nonprofit status.
Why nonprofit status? Basically, we're not in this for the money, and we don't want anyone else to be, either. A for-profit corporation is beholden to its shareholders, who have a stake in the company because it will earn them money. As a non-profit, we are beholden only to our students and teachers, and any money the camp makes beyond its needs goes back into improving the program. This way we can ensure that we have the best teachers, best facilities, and best opportunities to provide scholarships, field trips, and events.
Help us spread the word! Register for more information and tell everyone you know about www.sparcsummer.org!
